Everything seems to be going to Bilal Hassani ! Not only, the singer will represent France at Eurovision on may 18, 2019 in Tel Aviv (Israel), but it will come out his first album, entitled Kingdom on April 26, 2019. An album in which he has unveiled two songs : “Jealous”, and “Do beleck”. This is not all since it has also planned a tour, with a date to be outstanding at the Olympia, 21st October next. The former candidate of The Voice Kids 2 has come a long way, and not as artistically. Physically, it assumes more and more its look and never leaves his wigs.

Thanks to Lady Gaga ?

In the last issue of Technikart (n°229), currently available in newsstand, the interpreter of “the King” explains that it is thanks to Lady Gaga that he has begun to bear : “At its core, this is how it came : I had to go to a concert of Lady Gaga. So I ordered a wig on Ali Express, all blonde and synthetic, happened to me below the buttocks”. It also states that it is thanks to the singer that he has “started to pay attention to fashion“.

“It was therapeutic”

He immediately had a true blow of heart for wigs : “I remember all my life the day the parcel arrived at home, I immediately put it on my head. I had never felt such joy, never so strong ! At the same time, extremely vulnerable, because I was clearly trying to express something that I had buried all my life. This was like a release. It was therapeutic”. Today, wigs are an inherent part of his life and he even gives them nicknames : Paris to the blonde, Gila for the brunette, Kat for the red or Verona for the green.
