Les entreprises peuvent s’inscrire auprès de la Jeune chambre économique de Sète et du bassin de Thau jusqu’au 10 octobre.
Mobilizing businesses to save lives. This is the goal that the Young Economic Chamber of Sète and the Thau Basin has set itself by launching the first edition of the Blood for Blood challenge. An initiative aimed at mobilizing local businesses and their employees around blood donation. In partnership with the French Blood Establishment, three collection days will be specially organized before the end of the year at the Georges-Brassens hall. To facilitate their participation, and to efficiently manage donor flows, employees of participating companies will be able to book their slots on a dedicated online platform.
A trophy presentation at stake
A ceremony will conclude this action and will reward the companies most committed to this cause. “With this challenge and the trophy presentation at stake, we wanted to add a fun side to involve companies and staff”, says Amélie Ayats, the project director. Three prizes will be awarded to companies that have shown the most solidarity and involvement: those with fewer than ten employees, those with between ten and twenty employees, and those with more than twenty.
About twenty companies have already expressed their interest in the project. Those who would like to register as partners can make themselves known until October 10. “The goal is really to make it an impactful local event that leaves a mark on the region”, says Amélie Ayats. And why not make it an annual meeting for the economic players of the territory.
