Bombardier Aviation remove 2500 jobs

Bombardier Aviation abolishes nearly 2500 jobs, mainly in Canada due to the pandemic that hit their sector of activity.

“Therefore, Bombardier Aviation has made the difficult decision to reduce its workforce by approximately 2,500 employees. The majority of these reductions will affect the manufacturing activities in Canada and they will be carried out progressively over the year 2020”, one can read in a a news release on their site.

The company says to take this decisions, “to address the pandemic of COVID-19”.
