Booster dose: Estriens respond present

Since August 15, Quebec has been deploying its booster vaccination campaign against COVID-19 and many Estriens are responding.

According to the campaign director vaccination against COVID-19 in Estrie, Marie-France Beauregard, more Estriens are vaccinated than elsewhere in Quebec.

In figures, 21,000 people received a first dose or a booster dose since August 15.

Each week, between 10,000 and 12,000 Estriens make an appointment on the Clic Santé site in one of nine vaccination centers in the region. About 300 health care workers are needed to accomplish these tasks.

The Director of Public Health today reiterated the importance of the five days of isolation followed by wearing a mask for the following five days .

A principle that should also be applied and explained to children in schools.

There will also be an influenza vaccination offensive this fall, but this one should not conflict with that against COVID-19.
