Box office: more than half a million $ for the film “The shoemaker”

Quebec cinema continues its strong momentum at the box office. After Katak, the brave beluga and The diver, it's the turn of period drama The Shoemaker to cross the $500,000 mark at the box office.
In just two weeks in theaters, The Shoemaker managed to collect $506,586 in theaters across the province, distributor Les Films announced on Friday. Opal. François Bouvier's feature film (La Bolduc), which chronicles the life of Victoire Du Sault, the first woman to work as a shoemaker in Quebec, rose to second place this week most popular at the Quebec box office, behind the 4th opus in the John Wick saga.
La Cordonnière is the third Quebec feature film to cross the $500,000 mark at the box office since the beginning of the year, after the family animated film Katak, the Brave Beluga, which to date has grossed $1.4 million, and the drama The Diver em>, which is getting closer and closer to $1 million ($841,052).
The whodunitTwilight For A Killer, starring Éric Bruneau, just as good a figure with $385,274 raised since its theatrical release three weeks ago.
