British comedian Ricky Gervais will come to play at Place Bell in Laval in August

One of the most popular British comedians on the planet, Ricky Gervais will be visiting us this summer. The irreverent stand-up master announced this morning that he will be bringing his Armageddon tour to Place Bell in Laval on August 12.
After presenting his SuperNature Tour, which was a big hit in 2021 in arenas and subsequently on Netflix, Ricky Gervais is back.< /p>
His new tour is produced by Live Nation and will take the 61-year-old comedian to the four corners of the globe. This morning, new dates were announced in the United States and Canada, including Place Bell in Laval, Scotiabank Arena in Toronto and the Beacon Theater in New York. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m.
Ricky Gervais has already performed his new jokes in the UK to critical acclaim once again. This fall he will play four nights at the London Palladium, as well as one night at the gigantic OVO Wembley Arena.
This year he will also perform across European cities including Vienna, Dublin, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Oslo, Lisbon, Stockholm, Berlin and Munich.
In the United States, the comedian will notably visit Radio City Music Hall in New York and the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.
“When I was invited to play at the iconic Hollywood Bowl, I said, 'What if it rains?' It's not bad the way the British think,” Gervais said in a statement.
Ricky Gervais is known for creating the British series The Office, many times awarded. In addition to his Netflix special SuperNature, he also designed the black comedy After Life for this platform.
In humor, he presented six international stand-up tours. He also hosted the Golden Globes ceremony on five occasions, from 2010 to 2020.
