MORE THAN FISHING

For many people, wildlife reserves automatically mean hunting and fishing. Over time, officials have developed other ways to visit these unique territories. Camping du lac Normand is a good example.

Accessible via a well-maintained forest road, over a distance of 40 kilometres, this campsite has a lot to offer people who want to experience a real vacation.

The most important attraction that we discover arriving on the site, it is the immense beach which is offered to us. You would never think to discover such a site in the middle of the mountains. Many owners of campsites, closer to civilization, would like to offer a similar one to their visitors.

On site, there are games for children, pedal boats, paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, everything you need to practice water activities.

Hiking enthusiasts will be served as you wish with different trails ranging in length from 2 to 18 kilometres, both for people who simply want to stroll and for those who want to set themselves a challenge. Some are accessible from the campsite while for others, you will have to move around the territory.

Among these sites, there is that of Dunbar Falls which is very popular. A two-kilometre trail takes you to a unique natural site where you can have a picnic. This is just one example of what awaits you during your stay.

READY-TO-CAMPER

For people who do not want to invest in camping equipment, the ready-to-camp formula offered by the reserve is undoubtedly the ideal solution.

So, for a stay in this type of equipment, you will need to bring your food, your dish towels, sleeping bag or sheets, pillowcases, clothes, towels and body soap, mosquito repellent, sunscreen, flashlight and lighter. It is truly a friendly way to experience a camping stay in this unique site. The beach will certainly be a great asset for children, who will be able to have fun there without any problem.
