Whooping cough:  two infants died

#MONTPELLIER – Following the death of two infants victims of a malignant form of whooping cough in Montpellier, Professor Eric Jeziorski , head of pediatric post-emergencies at Montpellier University Hospital, recalls the importance of vaccination, particularly among pregnant women. "Since the end of 2023, we have been faced with cases of whooping cough, ten times more than usual, explains the doctor. Many infected people do not know it, hence the importance of vaccination." Tensions at the Saint-Pons-de-Thomières hospital
