Census in Sète: dates, enumerators, online procedures… everything you need to know about the 2024 campaign

Part of the population of Sète will be counted between Thursday January 18 and Wednesday February 24. If you are counted this year, you will receive a visit from an enumerator. The names of the census takers with their photos are available on the city website.
The enumerator will be provided with an official card. He is bound by professional secrecy and will provide the internet notice or questionnaires concerning your accommodation and the people who live there. To facilitate the work of the enumerator responsible for this operation, it is important to respond to this survey by favoring the response via the internet.
Internet procedures
From January 18, go to: le-recensement-et-moi.fr. Click on “Here I answer the questionnaire”. Then enter your access code, your password and the identifiers given to you by the enumerator (by hand or in the mailbox. To validate your questionnaire, do not forget to click on “Send questionnaires”.
If you do not have internet access, you can go to the town hall, rue Paul-Valéry, where a computer is available free of charge in the lobby.
To find out if you are counted this year or to obtain additional information, call the Census service on 04 99 04 70 02, or on 04 99 04 70 21 or on 04 99 04 70 26, from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
To determine the official population
The census determines the official population of the municipality and is used in particular to adjust public action to the needs of the populations (community facilities, renovation programs, means of transport, etc…).
Participation and responses are essential. They are made obligatory by law and will be transmitted to INSEE to establish strictly anonymous statistics. The population census is also free.
