Challenger of Vendée: Vasek Pospisil gets to work

Canadian Vasek Pospisil is in action this week and got off to a good start at the Challenger tennis tournament in Vendée, France on Tuesday.
Having received a invitation of the organizers, the 136th player in the world defeated the sixth seed and holder of the 101st rank of the ATP, Hugo Grenier, in two sets of 7-6 (3) and 6-4. Pospisil took 1h 36min to defeat his local opponent, breaking on three occasions. He did not have to save his serve once.
In the next round, he will do battle with another athlete from France, Jules Marie, from qualifying and 529th racquet on the professional circuit. The competition includes veterans Richard Gasquet and Gilles Simon, as well as American Jack Sock, who participated in the recent Laver Cup.
