The tournament installed since 1986 in the Bercy grounds will move from 2025, the French tennis federation announced on Monday January 29.

The Paris Masters 1000, which has been contested since 1986 in Bercy, will move to the Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre from 2025, and for at least 10 years, the Federation announced on Monday French tennis court (FFT).

From 16,800 to 23,000 spectators

"The Comex validated this decision Monday morning", the president of the FFT Gilles Moretton, justifying this decision by the need to meet the ATP specifications. The new hall, with five tennis courts, will be able to accommodate nearly 23,000 people compared to 16,800 at the Accor Arena, located in the 12th arrondissement of the capital.
