Charlotte Cardin will sing at the Cannes Film Festival in a show honoring film music

Charlotte Cardin participates in a show honoring film music presented Thursday, on the sidelines of the Cannes Film Festival, alongside several big names in French song.
Recorded outdoors in the bucolic setting of the Macé beach, a few meters from the famous Croisette, this show entitled Cannes sings cinemawill be broadcast on the France 2 channel on Saturday, during the closing evening of the festival.
According to information relayed to the Journal by the entourage of the Quebec singer, Charlotte Cardin was to perform Sans toi, a piece from the 1962 film Cléo de 5 à 7, by Agnès Varda, with singer-songwriter Vincent Delerm.
Louane, Christine and the Queens, Catherine Ringer, Jeanne Cherhal, Thomas Dutronc and several others have also been announced for this event. They will all sing accompanied by the National Orchestra of Cannes.

Over the past few days, Charlotte Cardin has been able to discover the glamor surrounding the most legendary film festival in the world, according to photos and videos published on the Instagram account of David D'Amours, the stars' hairdresser, who says he spent two evenings with her on the Croisette.
“I never imagined that I would do her hair in a real hair salon on a yacht,” he mentioned.
The latter had a busy festival. His services were also requested by filmmaker Monia Chokri and actress Magalie Lépine-Blondeau during the presentation of Simple comme Sylvain, in the Un certain regard section.
New dates
In addition to enjoying the excitement of Cannes, Charlotte Cardin continues to receive good news from her tour planned for the fall.
Over the past few hours, additional jobs have been announced in Laval and Trois-Rivières. She will therefore sing three consecutive evenings at Place Bell, from February 8 to 10, and two evenings at the Cogeco Amphitheater.
She will also perform on the Agora de Québec stage, on February 7 and 8. September, before leaving to sing abroad. She will notably make her debut at the Olympia in Paris on January 24, 2024.
Charlotte Cardin's new album, entitled 99 Nights, will be released in August.
