Circuit LIV: Tiger Woods no longer speaks to Bryson DeChambeau< /p> UPDATE DAY

The decision to join the LIV Tour and leave the PGA has eroded many relationships in professional golf, and that of Bryson DeChambeau and Tiger Woods is no exception.< /p>

DeChambeau was one of the PGA's biggest stars when he signed a deal worth more than $125 million from the Saudi-funded Tour last June.

His decision, like that of the dozens of golfers who imitated him, was received very coldly by the athletes most loyal to the PGA.

The Californian assured that, despite his solitary character, he had everything even kept in touch with several ex-counterparts, including Jordan Spieth and Will Zalatoris.

Laughing, however, DeChambeau told reporters in Winter Garden, Fla., that they could “guess” who was not talking to him anymore.

“I’m not going to betray anyone. He's been a great friend of mine, he said of Woods, according to USA Today. I wished him a happy birthday. It's like that. He has his vision of things.

“We have the chance to grow the sport and I hope that one day he will understand our point of view.”

D' elsewhere, DeChambeau hasn't missed the PGA since joining the LIV Tour.

“I don't regret a thing. I loved the fans and the people who came to cheer me on. But we are slowly starting to attract crowds. People increasingly understand our model and like the concept of teams. From what I've seen, things are moving in the right direction.”

Before accepting the Saudi bonanza, DeChambeau won the 2020 U.S. Open and seven other titles on the PGA Tour.
