The Montreal symphony Orchestra will be no exception to the rule. It will provide a boom in classic-mode ciné-parc, on 5 August, at 21 pm, at the Montreal-Trudeau international airport.
This benefit concert, entitled Soaring classic, will feature Beethoven’s 5th Symphony, to mark the 250th anniversary of the birth of the German composer.
We will also hear Le tombeau de Couperin by Maurice Ravel and excerpts from the operas The magic Flute and Don Giovanni by Mozart.
The conductor Jacques Lacombe will lead the concert, which will feature the voices of soprano Hélène Guilmette and the baritone Jean-François Lapointe.
The event will take place at 21h on the parking lot P-5. The access will be limited to 550 cars, giant screens will be placed at strategic locations and the sound will be retransmitted by the FM band. The public Health standards will be in force.
Three packages of $ 100 to $ 500 dollars per car, are available on osm.ca. This concert event has the goal of supporting the mission of accessibility and education of the orchestra. It will also allow the OSM the chance to reinvent themselves and develop original initiatives and important, which will enable him, during this difficult period, to maintain a vital link with the community.
