Club illico: Guy Nadon, Henri Picard and Nico Racicot in “Lac-Noir 2”

Pierre-Paul Alain, Louis-David Morasse, Guy Nadon, Henri Picard, Nico Racicot and Victoria Sanchez join the cast of the thrillerLac-Noir, from Club illico, whose second season has been filming for a few days. The eight new episodes will be launched on the Videotron platform in time for Halloween. 

Directed by Frédérik D'Amours, the series brings back most of the actors from the first version, namely Mélissa Désormeaux-Poulin in the main role as well as Andreas Apergis, Laurie Babin, Normand D'Amour, Stéphane Demers, Maxime Gibeault, Marie- Evelyne Lessard, Isabelle Miquelon and Anthony Therrien.

Police officer Valérie Roberge (Mélissa Désormeaux-Poulin) is now aware that the village of Lac-Noir is populated by werewolves. She would like to pack up and quickly return to Montreal with her son Dave (Anthony Therrien), but there is a problem and not just any problem: the latter has become a werewolf in turn. She would like to cure him, but is it even possible? Also, an out-of-control werewolf terrorizes the area. Could it be Dave?

In this second season, two members of the Werewolf Senate – the head of the Canadian division (Guy Nadon) and the young senator Raphaël (Henri Picard) – arrive in Lac-Noir to investigate the tragic events that almost revealed the secret. of the existence of werewolves on the evening of the red moon. Then a strange reporter, Éric (Nico Racicot) arrives in the village, without anyone knowing his real intentions. Valérie will find it to her liking.

In the genre series, the other new performers are Victoria Sanchez (Dre Léna Kos), Pierre-Paul Alain (the villager Maurice) and Louis-David Morasse (the trucker Mario).

Special effects make-up specialist Adrien Morot, who won the Oscar for best make-up and hairstyle last March – with his colleagues Anne Marie Bradley and Judy Chin – for his work in the film The Whale (The Whale), returns to service on the set of Lac-Noir, as during the first season.
