The objective is to create a convivial space, open to the public and to the wider landscape, an atmosphere promoting a feeling of openness and stimulating exchanges.

Downtown Revitalization

This project contributes to the city center revitalization strategy, in continuation of the project to beautify the Place de la Comédie and the Esplanade Charles de Gaulle, in order to strengthen its attractiveness and modernize the area. ;image of Corum as an emblematic, dynamic place accessible to all.

By creating a lively and secure place, this license to imagine meets the objectives pursued by the City and Metropolis of Montpellier to develop living together, inclusion, culture in the city and well-being for all and at all ages. From this summer, a new open space is being created in the heart of the city, conducive to exchanges and meetings, in an exceptional setting.

The expected activities focus on three main themes: art and culture, sport, childhood. Other activities may be proposed in synergy with these main themes.

Occupancy and activities will take place over the estimated period between mid-June and mid-September 2024.
