Compensation for Bagnolese farmers victims of hail in May and June 2023

La ville de Bagnols-sur-Cèze est reconnue sinistrée pour les pertes de nectarine, pêches et abricots, lors de l'épisode de grêle en mai et juin 2023. Les agriculteurs peuvent faire leur demande d'indemnisation.

The commune of Bagnols-sur-Cèze was recognized as a disaster victim in May and June 2023 under the new compensation system based on National Solidarity (ISN) following the hail storms.

The city services explain that "this recognition concerns the losses of harvests of apricots, peaches and nectarines".  The system is aimed at farmers whose production is not covered by comprehensive weather insurance or hail insurance and who deplore a loss of harvest of at least 30%.

The period for submitting claims for compensation is set from February 15, 2024 to April 15, 2024. The farmers concerned must send their request to the DDTM by post to the following address:    DDTM du Gard, agricultural economics department,   89, rue Wéber 30907 Nîmes Cedex 2.
