Costa Cruises introduced a new superliner
The world’s first cruise ship operating on liquefied natural gas, the clean fuel at the moment.

The new flagship of the fleet, received the name Costa Smeralda in honor of the emerald Coast, the pearl of Sardinia. Its decks are named after iconic places in Italy – from Palermo to Trieste. Available 6500 passengers 22 deck, 2612 cabins, 28 suites, 106 cabins with a terrace, more than 1500 cabins with a balcony.
The interior of the cabins used colors and geometric motifs of the cities which are named in honor of the deck. On the liner the Museum of design CoDe, a curator who became famous Italian architect Matteo of Barcelona.

Engines Costa Smeralda almost do not pollute the air and water at sea and in port, moreover, they are not as noisy. PSG non-toxic, protects the fuel system from corrosion and dirt and prolongs its service life.
The route of the liner laid on the Western part of the Mediterranean — via Savona, Marseille, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, Civitavecchia (Rome) and La Spezia. The inaugural cruise Costa Smeralda will depart on 4 November.
Costa Smeralda will be among the so-called “gold ships” with full Russian support. Part of the ship’s crew included more specialists who speak Russian, including children’s workers. Will be more fun and Russian — even for small groups. Side supplemented by Russian TV channels.
