Quebec reported 11 additional deaths from COVID-19 on Thursday, as hospitalizations remain fairly stable.
Four of those deaths lives have occurred in the last 24 hours, while six deaths have occurred between two and seven days ago. The last one dates back more than seven days.
Seven new people positive for the virus end up in hospitals for a total of 1,981 hospitalizations, including 646 due to COVID-19. Two more patients have been identified in intensive care where 53 beds are occupied.
Nearly 1,241 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded at testing centers in the province and 121 positive tests have been self-reported .
There are also 4,102 health care workers who are absent from the network for reasons related to the virus, whether for preventive withdrawal, isolation and waiting for results.
