MERCIER – After several cases recently reported COVID-19 Mercier, in Montérégie, a mobile clinic screening without an appointment-you will be coming on Thursday.
The clinic will be open from 9.30 am to 16 pm at the community center-Roger Tougas.
The City of Mercier had asked the public health to put on such a clinic after it was diagnosed several people who live or work on its territory in the last days. This recent outbreak has prompted the temporary closure of several shops and restaurants in Mercier.
“We are very pleased with the quick response of the directorate of public health, and we offer them all our support,” said mayor Mercier, Lise Michaud, by way of a press release.
The City has also indicated that the activities of the day camp, which usually have place community center-Roger Tougas, will be held in another place on Thursday. Everything will be cleaned up in the evening and the camp will return Friday in any security, has assured the city administration.
