The Auberge aux Trois Pignons in Quebec city, which was hit two weeks ago by an outbreak of COVID-19, is now the subject of an independent investigation, confirmed Tuesday the minister responsible for Seniors, Marguerite Blais.
Two inspectors designated by the ministry of Health will be on site as early as this afternoon.
The minister Blais wants to get answers as quickly as possible.
More than two dozen residents have been infected, as well as a dozen employees.
It would have been a number of days before the authorities are informed of the situation.
More details to come…
