The vaccination campaign for children aged 5 to 11 is timely in the provinces, while cases of COVID-19 continue to increase across the country.

As of November 25 at 9 a.m., more than 163,000 appointments had already been made in Quebec for the vaccination of children 5 to 11 years old.

The province also reported 902 new infections in the past 24 hours, a new high since September, while 882 cases had been identified the day before. Five new deaths were also added to the toll on Thursday.

Hospitalizations, however, remained stable (201, -1), while 45 people were in intensive care (-1).

On the Ontario side, where the vaccination of the youngest has also started, 87,500 appointments were made on Tuesday at the opening of the making an appointment.

At the same time, the most populous province in the country added 748 cases (against 591 the day before) and five deaths to its balance sheet, while hospitalizations decreased (257, -32).

  • Outside Quebec, a total of 230,593 doses were administered, for a cumulative total of 13,732,546 doses received by Quebecers. & nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp;
