COVID-19: six more deaths in Quebec

Quebec added six more deaths to its toll released Wednesday morning.
Of those deaths, five occurred between two and seven days ago and another occurred more than a week ago.
A total of 2,095 Quebecers are still in hospital beds, including 716 due to COVID-19, a decrease of 42 from compared to the day before. Among them, 48 people are in intensive care, a figure also down (-5) from Tuesday.
Quebec also reported 698 new cases of COVID-19 which were recorded in testing centers in the province, and 32 positive tests were self-reported on Tuesday.
In addition, 2,553 health care workers are still absent from the network for reasons related to the virus whether for preventive withdrawal, isolation or waiting for results.
