The decree establishing an additional charge of 100 euros for employees who request training via their personal training account (CPF) came into force this Thursday, May 2, 2024. Who is not affected ? We take stock.

The implementing decree which establishes the remaining charge of 100 euros for any person wishing to start training via their personal training account (CPF), has was published in the Official Journal this Tuesday, April 30, 2024, before coming into force this Thursday, May 2. This measure, announced at the start of the year by the Minister of the Economy Bruno Le Maire, provides for some exceptions.

Some exceptions

According to RMC, this remaining charge does not concern everyone , in particular unemployed people or even certain employees. The latter can ask their employer to cover this contribution.

Workers whose "training is the subject of a contribution from their employer, including when this contribution is paid by the employer The employer in application of a company or group agreement, a branch agreement or an agreement concluded by the union organizations of employees and employers managing the company. rsquo;a skills operator", are also exempt. The same goes for employees "retraining".

Revalued each year

The remaining 100 euros will be revalued each January 1st according to the monthly consumer price index (excluding tobacco) for households.

In the event that the credit you receive does not cover all the costs of the desired training, please note that it is possible to obtain additional financing from your employer, but also with your regional or departmental council, your town hall or France Travail.
