The Minister of Public Security Geneviève Guilbault thanks Quebecers for respecting the curfew, which came into effect on Saturday evening at 8 p.m.

“Quebeckers respected the curfew on Saturday night to break the second wave. I want to thank you for your solidarity. We do it for our healthcare workers and to protect the lives of our vulnerable people. Thank you ”, we can read in a message posted on Twitter.
On Saturday, Prime Minister François Legault had also turned to social networks to urge Quebecers to make a last effort and respect the curfew.
“Now is the time to stop the advance of the virus. We all need each other. We need a collective effort, from everyone, for a month, ”the Prime Minister wrote.
