Daniel Bélanger, Les Trois Accords, Vulgaires Machins, Ingrid St-Pierre, Jean-Michel Blais, Amyl and the Sniffers, Souldia and the Ukrainian band DakhaBrakha will be on the 14th Festive edition! of Baie-Saint-Paul.

“We tried again to go with a typical Festive program! with sure values, established artists, the next generation and favorites from elsewhere,” said, during an interview, the general and artistic director Clément Turgeon.
The great manitou of the program admits to having done well in a context of inflation that affects several festivals and events.
“There are a lot of good shots and very good times in sight, considering the economic context. We are really very happy”, he added, referring to the arrival of the Australian rock-garage-punk band Amyl and the Sniffers.

Clément Turgeon has been trying to bring them to Baie-Saint-Paul for several years. The Melbourne band, who have opened for both Green Day and the Foo Fighters, will be featured on July 22.
Intimate performances
“I saw them in the fall during the Iceland Airwaves festival. It is one of the powerful sights I have seen in my life. Amy Taylor controls the scene like few singers today. It’s a bit in the spirit of the Gogol Bordello group and it’s a must,” he added.
We also find Valaire, Sara Dufour, Milk & Bone, Bleu Jeans Bleu, Mononc' Serge and Anonymus, who will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Académie du massacre, Groovy Aardvark, Gab Bouchard, Safia Nolin at dawn, Patrick Normand and many others in the program.
New, the Urbania Series will present free and intimate performances in shops and unusual places.
A local presale will take place on April 13, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., at the Jacques Pavilion Saint-Gelais from the Contemporary Art Museum of Baie-Saint-Paul. The official sale will launch online on April 14 at noon. The complete program is online at lefestif.ca
