Death in CHSLD: Coroner Kamel postpones part of her hearings in January

Coroner Géhane Kamel announces that she is postponing in January the continuation of her investigation into the deaths in CHSLDs during the first wave of COVID-19. & nbsp;

< p> This news comes as the testimonies of several senior officials of the health network at its hearings are questioned by the opposition parties and contradicted by the publication of an explosive report on the lack of preparations in CHSLDs before the crisis.

Only the “representations” component which was to take place as of November 30, 2021 is however concerned.

“Coroner Me Géhane Kamel thus wishes to have all the time required to assess the documentary evidence which is expected for November 29 in accordance with the various commitments made in recent weeks with certain witnesses ”, specifies his office, in a press release.
