UPDATE DAY
Claude Fournier left his mark on the world of Quebec cinema and television. His death, at the age of 91, leaves a great void in the artistic community. His twin brother, Guy, wanted to pay tribute to him at the microphone of Sophie Durocher, on QUB radio.
Among other things, he returned to the first feature film they made,< em> Two golden women. It was 1970.
“I was completely opposed to this film being produced there,” said Mr. Fournier.
You have to remember that at the time, their company was also doing commercials. The fear of losing customers was very present.
Returning to his partner of the past 91 years, Guy Fournier continues the anecdotes on this immense collaboration which animated him for so long. With a lot of emotion, he praises a great Quebec filmmaker, who marked the era of cinema, immortalizing a huge part of Quebec society.
