The Crown did not lay new charges Wednesday morning against Audrey Gagnon, mother of little Rosalie, stabbed to death last week Charlesbourg.
The only suspect in the death of the 2-year-old was to return to court in the morning for his release investigation. But it has been postponed to Friday.
“The investigation is not over. That’s why the case was moved to Friday, “said Crown Attorney Mélanie Dufour.
Audrey Gagnon remains detained.
For now, the 23-year-old mother is only facing charges of mischief, obstructing police work and non-compliance.
