The Great Library, located in the city centre of Montreal, will gradually resume its activities as from 2 July, but sanitary measures are very strict apply.
People will need to book their documents online or by phone before you can pick them up.
The library will then contact them to tell them that what they reserved is available. It is only at this point that they can move, said in press release Thursday, Library and Archives nationales du Québec (BanQ).
In short, it will not be possible to read for the time being, even within the social distancing. The Bank does not advance any date in this sense.
To avoid that people are rushing to take back their leases, the library will apply until further notice, no late fee.
So that everything is properly sanitized, the documents will only be put back into circulation that three days after we came to the reporter, said the Bank.
