A protest against the wearing of the mask, currently taking place at the foot of mount Royal, in Montreal, where hundreds of people gathered to express their anger and skepticism of the pandemic COVID-19 and sanitary measures imposed by the public health.
Began on the stroke of noon, the peaceful protest has brought together citizens who refuse to wear the mask, some preferring to deliver their grocery shopping rather than visiting in person in the business, and the need to comply with the regulations of Quebec.
“Everyone is free to choose, it is a fundamental right. This is what is important. People who want to wear the mask, can wear and people who do not want to wear the mask should have the right not to wear it”, pleaded one protester encountered on-site.
