Guest on the set of TF1 in the morning show "Bonjour!" the day after an inter-union strike which mobilized one in five teachers, the Minister of National Education recognized that her beginnings at the head of the ministry were not good". 

Since his appointment as head of a "super-ministry" of Education and Sports, Amélie Oudéa-Castéra accumulates controversies and crystallizes tensions in the world of education.

Morning guest "Hello!" on TF1 this Friday, February 2, the minister acknowledged that her first steps in the government formed by Prime Minister Gabriel Attal in early January did not go well: “the start was not good, obviously& ;quot;, she said.

Amélie Oudéa-Castéra has been under fire for several weeks due in particular to the education of her children in the private establishment Stanislas, recently singled out for its practices of circumventing Parcoursup and accused of sexism and homophobia, as well as for his comments on public schools and their "packets of hours not seriously replaced".

"Nothing is guaranteed for anyone"

The controversies continued and this Thursday, February 1, National Education staff were on strike, at the initiative of various teaching unions, including some are calling for the resignation of Amélie Oudéa-Castéra.

The minister affirms this morning that she is not "thinking of resigning" . "I am in action in the service of National Education (…)& nbsp;I want to contribute to the success of the school because Ie think that I have a lot to contribute to this action  : method, dialogue, action of will and courage", affirmed the tenant of rue de Grenelle. 

To Adrien Gindre's question as to whether she had received "guarantees from the President and the Prime Minister on her remaining in government, the minister responded vaguely that < em>"neither of them are in any mood. What they want are ministers who know what they have to do and who work to do it, but only "nothing is guaranteed for anyone".
