This Thursday, February 15, 2024, the family of Erwan, 18, who disappeared during the night from Saturday to Sunday, filed a complaint against the nightclub where the young man was.

While the 18-year-old young man has still not been found since the night of February 10 to 11, Erwan's family has filed a complaint against the night establishment where he was there that evening, indicated Ouest France. According to the relatives of the missing person, the discotheque showed "negligence", reports BFMTV.

Security not guaranteed

If gray areas hover over the circumstances of Erwan's disappearance, the young man's family has nevertheless decided to file a complaint against the nightclub ;La Morinière, in Moncoutant-sur-Sèvre.

With the various information currently known about the course of the evening, "not all conditions were met to ensure Erwan’s safety Blais", reports the local daily.

Out of the box, and nothing more

As a reminder, Erwan vanished during the night from Saturday to Sunday under mysterious circumstances, which justify the opening of a investigation for worrying disappearance, indicates Ouest-France. A search was carried out and investigations are continuing with divers, dog brigades, and analysis of telephony.

The very young adult is a student and follows a "bank" within the University of Poitiers. If Erwan was in this nightclub called "La Mornière", it was to see the rapper Leto who was performing that evening in the establishment  Moncoutant-sur-Sèvre in Deux-Sèvres.

While his friends look for him inside, they don't see him, and the last trace of Erwan would have been in the parking lot of the nightclub. Since then, nothing.

Alcohol at the heart of the debates

Mattéo, a friend who was with Erwan, recalled the evening when Erwan disappeared. His friend explains that the four young men met in the evening before heading to the nightclub shortly before 11 p.m.

"We drank a little before entering the club. We wanted to look good but we didn't want to be drunk", said Mattéo. However, rumors surrounding young boys' alcohol consumption are increasing.

But the young man only has guesses as to Erwan's alcohol consumption during the evening. "He would have actually been drinking with his friends. Which could explain his attitude in the nightclub", believes his friend.
