Tragedy in the Paris region. This Monday, at the end of the day, a man was injured in the back after being stabbed several times at the end of a football match in Sevran (Seine-Saint-Denis). The perpetrator of the attack then fled, according to information from BFMTV.

A defeat that does not go away

It is a scene of rare violence that took place at the beginning of the week. Around 7:30 p.m., after the final whistle of a football match, a player clearly couldn't get over his team's defeat and decided to attack an opponent.

That's when he stabbed him several times in the back, two in total. The victim was taken care of by emergency services and then transported to Robert-Ballanger hospital.

According to the news channel, the suspect fled after attacking the opposing team player and is being actively sought by the Sevran police, which is in charge of the investigation. The man has been identified and is already known to the courts and was banned from staying in Sevran.
