A Houston, Texas woman is charged with manslaughter after her Porsche hit a man while traveling over 100 mph.

She was four times over the legal drink-driving limit, reported the New York Post.  

32-year-old Kristina Chambers had driven so fast that she failed to make a turn. She ended up bumping into Joe McMullin, who had just left a pastry shop with another woman on a first date. The 33-year-old died at the scene.

The event happened at 2:30 a.m. on April 20, according to local police.

The 30-year-old was injured in the incident and arrived in a wheelchair for her trial.

The judge ordered Kristinia Chambers to be held on $50,000 bond and banned her from driving in unless she finds a job.

The Texan lives with her husband of six years, Xuan Si, in a more than $2 million home, the Daily Mail reported >.
