The time when farmers would arrive at the Saint-Barthélemy fair to collect their teams of grape harvesters is long gone. There, it's young Valentin who leaves with a Stitch hat, here Isabelle who leaves with a clock or even Nora who found "cheap" curtains and cushions.

The crowd is sometimes sparse but the boulevard Louis-Blanc still has its peddlers selling potato cutters, stain-resistant tablecloths or non-stick frying pans with “granite” stone. Myriam, a traveling salesman, is experiencing her first fair and the linear meter at 8.20 &euro offers him the hope of a small income despite the strollers with very light shopping bags…
