CAIRO – A famous dancer egyptian was sentenced to three years in prison for having published videos sexually suggestive on TikTok.
Sama el-Masry, 42 years old, was arrested in April, was prosecuted for incitement to debauchery, reported Sunday “New York Times”.
The conviction of the artist is subject to a fine of 300,000 egyptian pounds (approximately $250,000).
The egyptian judiciary accuses a dancer of having published videos and photos on social networks qualified as ” sexually suggestive and incite to immorality.
El-Masry has denied the charges, arguing that the offending content has been stolen and shared without their consent, said the journal’s new york.
