Elton John visé par une demande d'injonction de la part de son ex-femme

The ex-wife of Elton John has started a legal procedure against the singer, reported the british newspaper The Guardian.

The procedure involves an application for an injunction, the nature of which has not been specified.

Renate Blauel, engineer of sound, and the singer had first met in 1983 during the recording of the album Too Low for Zero. They were married the following year during a trip to Australia, and were divorced in 1988. Elton John has subsequently announced that he was gay.

Ms Blauel is, since then, remained withdrawal from all public life.

The name of Elton John is listed as a defendant in the legal documents, according to The Guardian, who is said to have tried in vain to get comments from its representatives.

The lawyer of Renate Blauel has confirmed to the newspaper that it had submitted the application for an injunction at the High Court, but has not desired to give more details. According to the newspaper, the lawyer has limited itself to say that his client “had hoped to settle this amicably”.

Elton John is currently married to David Furnish. The couple has two children.
