Emil Heineman joins the Rocket

Swedish forward Emil Heineman will end the season with the Laval Rocket of the American Hockey League, the Montreal Canadiens confirmed on Monday.
He had sold the 21-year-old skater to Leksands IF, a club playing in his country's elite league, in November. With his hometown roster where he played starting in 2015, Heineman has 15 points in 35 games this season.
Acquired from the Calgary Flames in the trade that sent Tyler Toffoli to Alberta l Last year, the left winger suffered a thumb injury before heading to Europe.
Taking part in today's training at Place Bell, he will then try to help the Rocket to qualify for the playoffs. Head coach Jean-François Houle's squad will host the Bridgeport Islanders on Wednesday.
