Emmy: 5 nominations pour Big Little Lies

The second season of Big Little Lies, produced by Jean-Marc Vallée, has won five nominations for the Emmy Awards. However, it was shunned in the category of Best drama series.

Broadcast last summer on HBO, the sequel to Big Little Lies (Little secrets, big lies) appears in the categories Best production design, makeup and casting. For their part, Meryl Streep and Laura Dern are part of the finalists in the award for Best supporting actress (drama series).

The Best drama series will be Better Call Saul, Killing Eve, Ozark, Stranger Things, the Succession, The Crown, The Handmaid”s Tale or The Mandalorian.

The appointments were announced Tuesday morning at 11: 30.

The first season of Big Little Lies had won several awards at the gala in 2017, including that of the Best limited series. Jean-Marc Vallée had obtained the trophy for Best director.

The 72nd ceremony of the Emmy will be presented Sunday, September 20 on ABC.
