After an away win on the Beaumont pitch (1-0) on the first day, the ENL players failed to improve on these points this Sunday at home.

Big disappointment for the Entente Nord Lozère who therefore lost at home (3-1) against Union Sportive Issoire.

First home game and first defeat of the season for the Lozériens, who had been on a very good playing dynamic until now.

However, this confrontation started well for the Enelistes.

From the first minutes of the match, the green and whites took the upper hand over their opponents who organized themselves into a very low block.

Lilian Condon's men had possession, brought a lot of percussion and quickly put in place the game plan set out by the coach. A domination that materialized in the 20th minute of play thanks to a goal by Pierre Serain well served by Bastien Ruat (1-0). Nothing seemed to be able to tarnish the Saint-Albanais' match. But at the end of the first period, everything came together for the ENL. In a head-to-head duel, the Lozère striker, Arthur Brugeron, injured his brow and cheekbone.

Things got more complicated in the second act

An injury that would earn him eight stitches. In the process, the Issoiriens equalized against the run of play, just before the break (1-1). The two teams returned to the locker room, neck and neck despite the clear domination of the Enelistes.

In the second half, the physiognomy of the match changed completely. The Issoiriens returned to the field much more determined and surprised the Lozériens who could no longer get back into their game.

On the hour mark, the locals were punished on a corner and let Issoire take the lead (1-2).

But this goal did not make Lilian Condon's men react, who continued to suffer and even conceded a third goal 10 minutes from the end of the match (1-3).

The ENL did not know how to manage its game and lost 3 precious points on the second day of the championship.

"There is nothing to say. We were not up to par despite a very good first half, confides Lilian Condon after the match, I am disappointed by our lack of reaction and to have suffered so much".
