Environment, responsibility of elected officials… these themes which will be at the heart of the Gard municipalities fair

The event, organized by the association of mayors of France 30, will take place on June 13 at the Nîmes exhibition center.

Two years before the next municipal elections, how are our mayors of Gard ? Julien Plantier, deputy mayor of Nîmes, insisted on the very numerous attacks on elected officials and asked for more protection. "Parliament must take up these issues." The association of mayors of France plans to most often become a civil party in the event of an attack on an elected official brought to justice.

Many areas of the show focus on the environment. Thus, a workshop is devoted to financing energy works for communities via the Green Fund.

140 exhibitors will be present at the show, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.: state services, security forces, public prosecutor's office, bedrooms consulars, public service buyers, etc. The opportunity to exchange ideas between partners, but also to stick together and share experiences between elected officials. According to President Ribot, no less than 98% of the municipalities of Gard adhere to the AMF.
