The Gard prefecture opens the departmental operational center and takes charge of operations.

Identification operations underway

In a press release, the Gard prefecture indicated, this Friday, July 26 at 4:05 p.m., that a pollution episode was being closely monitored by the authorities, adding that “operations to identify the pollution are underway”.

Thus, as a precautionary measure, access to the beach is regulated until further notice: “The population is asked not to go to the scene and to keep informed by consulting the website www.gard.gouv.fr.”
