Euro 2024. 'France has two or three players who could play in our team': England international doesn't see how England can't win

Speaking on British television, former England football international Paul Merson said he would be “shocked if England did not win the ;#39;Euro 2024, scratching the French team in the process. 

Will the English finally manage to win in a major competition ? If they missed a golden opportunity during the last Euro, beaten in the final by the ' #39;Italy at home at Wembley, the footballers from across the Channel still have a team with strong potential on paper.

"It would be a failure if we don't win it"

"I don't see how we couldn't win the Euro. I would be shocked if we didn't do it, said former England international Paul Merson (21 caps) during a broadcast on Sky Sports football.< /p>

"I don't want to put pressure on Gareth Southgate (the England coach), but it would be a failure if we don't win it. I don't see who could be at our level. France has two or three players who could play in our team, he added.
