In 2019, the National Rally came first in the European elections, but with only 22% of the votes, ahead of LREM at 19%. Marine Le Pen obtained 45% of the vote, behind Emmanuel Macron (54.2%) in the 2022 presidential election.

Election results

The national surge of the RN largely affected Lozère this Sunday, June 9, where the list led by Jordan Bardella came out on top, with nearly 32% of the vote, 10 points more than in the last European elections in 2019. A score all the more important since the department voted very widely, with a participation of more than 60% of voters, and the list led by Marion Maréchal also exceeded 5% (5.41%).

A lone rider far ahead of the other lists

This lone rider is all the more remarkable which leaves the other lists far behind. The one led by Raphaël Glucksmann for the PS is close to 15% (14.45%), almost doubling its score in 2019.

Valérie Hayer's list collapses, with barely 12% of the vote, while LREM was at 19% in 2019, which was then just three points behind Jordan Bardella's list.

Jean Lassalle's list achieved a very strong score, with 7.9% of the vote, and was close on the heels of LR François-Xavier Bellamy's list, which barely exceeded 8% of the vote, a drop of almost five points on its 2019 score.

Marion Aubry with La France Insoumise peaked at around 6% of the vote, a score similar to that of 2019.

Marion Toussaint's environmentalists did not exceed 5% of the vote, which represents a real collapse: they came in fourth place in 2019, with more than 12% of the vote.
