Fanja Toky a été élue miss commerce au début du mois d’avril. Installée depuis 5 ans à Bagnols, elle jongle entre sa passion pour le mannequinat et son commerce.
In Madagascar, her country of origin, Fanja Toky Faramalala is a well-known model and photo model. "As soon as you leave the airport, I'm on advertising spots." In Bagnols-sur-Cèze, she manages for five years the boutique – which is also an institute – Beauty reflection at 67 rue de la République. To her CV, this 39-year-old woman can now add the mention "miss commerce" of Bagnols. She won the sash on April 6 after walking the red carpet at Place Mallet where she visibly caught the eye of the jury. "This title makes me very happy. It’s a nice distinction and great recognition."
"Open to new projects"
This mother of two boys aged 4 and 13 is used to being in the spotlight. She started modeling at a very young age, in Madagascar, for different brands. "I managed to live off that, I had a very good financial situation." Fanja Toky arrived in France in 2009 for personal reasons. His "passion" for modeling never left him. As soon as she can, the Bagnolaise parades for stylists in Marseille, Paris, Aix and Montpellier, "sometimes for pleasure and others times in exchange for remuneration or gifts". She then juggles her job as a nail prosthetist, beautician and simple Bagnolais trader. With her white and pink scarf from Miss Commerce Bagnols, the star of Madagascar says she is "open to new projects".
