From the movement to the extreme right in Mèze and Frontignan
Jean-Christophe Cazorla, former head of Reconquête! for the canton of Mèze (7th constituency), announces that he is leaving Éric Zemmour's party to join Marion Maréchal's party, Identités Libertés. In a press release dated October 8, he states “that he fully recognizes himself in the desire to broaden a patriotic coalition alongside the RN and the UDR (Éric Ciotti's party, editor's note)”. As a reminder, the Zemmourist party had exploded the day after the announcement of early legislative elections on the question of alliances with the National Rally.
The same trend is seen in Frontignan, where Gilles Ardinat, an opposition municipal councillor who had followed in the footsteps of Marion Maréchal at Zemmour, is now following Le Pen's niece into her new party. He has also become the head of the section in the Muscat city.

Clémentine Autain, Eric Piolle… at the Lazaret this week
The Utopia movement, which describes itself as a popular education association aiming to develop “a project for a united, ecologically sustainable and friendly society”, is organizing its 2024 University in Sète, at the Lazaret. From October 17 to 20, discussions, debates and conferences will take place in the presence of political figures such as NFP MP Clémentine Autain, Grenoble Mayor Eric Piolle and Lucie Castets (via video), who was once expected to be at Matignon.
