Fashion of stars: the 2023 Cannes fashion show

Star fashion: the 2023 Cannes parade

BID À DAY

The Cannes Film Festival had barely started when one of the most beautiful looks of this 76eedition appeared. After a five-year hiatus for tax reasons, Fan Bingbing has returned to reclaim her crown as queen of the Cannes red carpet. Over the years, the Chinese actress and singer has dazzled the crowd with her outfits while celebrating the talent of Asian designers at the same time. For her big comeback, she donned an embroidered and sequined tiger print dress by Christopher Bu. Her emerald jewels recall the green of the lucky bamboos that adorn the creation.

This sequence of styles continued with all the dazzle that we know of. There were, of course, the usual “she overdid” looks, but they were rare, giving way instead to many sophisticated, dramatic and sexy black and white outfits. The colorful dresses like these 2023 plus size HOCO dresses were vibrant and cut close to the body, with the theatrics coming from a cape, stole or gloves.

Here’s a rundown of the best outfits.

Anne Hathaway

In the middle of the Cannes Film Festival, Anne Hathaway managed to eclipse the stars of the red carpet with her appearance at the Venetian Bulgari evening unveiling the house’s Mediterranea high jewelry collection. The actress was exquisite, slipped into this Atelier Versace dress crafted in transparent tulle adorned with a gradation of gold and silver crystals reminiscent of waves, all serving as a showcase for exceptional Bulgari pieces.  </p >

Naomi Campbell

The gale couldn’t have blown at a better time, the effect on the feather-studded pink cape couldn’t have been more theatrical for Naomi Campbell’s ascent of the steps. The still slender model had opted for a two-tone Valentino creation matched with Chopard jewelry.

Pom Klementieff

A vibrant color, a shiny material, transparency, a touch of corsetry, a monochrome silhouette, a marked build and integrated gloves, that’s all the actress Pom Klementieff has combined for her successful passage on the red carpet. Her dress is signed Versace and her jewels Cartier.

Cate Blanchett

Even when she opts for a new creation, Cate Blanchett advocates an approach in favor of sustainable fashion. Existing materials were cut by the Louis Vuitton workshops to make this dress.

Michelle Yeoh

Michelle Yeoh leaves this impression of composing her looks from the jewelry she ‘she’ll wear as their arrangement is always impeccable, as evidenced by this Boucheron necklace surrounded by a Balenciaga apple green taffeta creation.

Viola Davis

Viola Davis strings together fabulous dresses and this latest outing is majestic. The “Cannes red carpet” memo was well and truly understood by the actress who climbed the steps leaving a long gray and silver feather coat by Valentino Couture. Chopard jewels completed the whole.

Dua Lipa

For the night premiere of the film Omar la fraise, Dua Lipa donned an openwork and high-slit dress by Celine by Hedi Slimane, revealing at the same time her new fringed haircut, framed by Tiffany & Co. An elegant and sexy silhouette, perfect for the festival!

Gemma Chan

Here is the wedding dress inspiration for those looking for an original and sophisticated silhouette . Gemma Chan was immaculate in this Louis Vuitton creation decorated with a wide band of three-dimensional flowers.

Isabelle Huppert

Isabelle Huppert regularly wears Balenciaga’s sometimes conceptual creations with panache. While the laces often reveal a contrasting or falsely “flesh-colored” undergarment, the actress avoided the inconvenience by donning a full flesh jumpsuit… to the feet! The barefoot effect is still surprising.

Gigi Hadid

The modernity of this silhouette, which could have quickly made Barbie if it had been pink, lies in the café au lait color of this sculptural Zac Posen dress to which Gigi Hadid matched Messika diamonds.
