Feria d’Alès: the complete program for this Sunday, May 12

Novillada, corrida et dernières musique sur le parvis de la mairie pour conclure cette 33e feria de l’Ascension.

Dernier jour pour profiter de la feria de l’Ascension ce dimanche 12 mai.

Naturally, the entertainment is less and the bodegas are starting to pack up, apart from a few corners where the most connoisseurs of festivals can find something to toast and eat. This last day of the feria concentrates the second and final act awaited by lovers of bulls and bullfighters in the Tempéras arenas.

At 9 h : Sevillian mass in the Cathedral of Saint-Jean-Baptiste hosted by an Andalusian choir from the  rsquo;Soledad association and by dances in front of the square at the end of the ceremony. Please note: no parade is planned after the Sevillian mass.

At 10 h 30 : Novillada not bitten in the Tempéras arenas (paying) . Five novillos from the ganaderias François André, Barcelo, La Suerte, Sans Sebastien and Roland Durand against the novilleros Matias (Arles), Valentin (Nîmes, Bautista Angosto (Nîmes), Bruno Gimeno Fernandez (Valencia) and the winner of the bolsin of the Primavera des Aficionados.

At 5 p;30 : Corrida of remembrance, in tribute to the breeder Hubert Yonnet (paid). Six toros from the Yonnet ganaderia, currently led by his granddaughter, Charlotte Yonnet, against the toreros Morenito de Aranda (Spain), Luis Gerpe (Spain) and Tibo Garcia (Nîmes).

From 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.: open-air disco with the Texto orchestra, orchestra ready to offer the last dances of tango, waltzes, rumba, madison, country, rock and disco for these last hours of the feria.
