The serious novillos of Malaga and Camino de Santiago offered a lively morning where Lalo de Maria opened the big door and Nino Julian cut a heavy ear.

The novillada piqued on Sunday morning proved interesting for aficionados with the two French irons of Malaga (3rd, 4th and 5th) and Camino de Santiago (1st, 2nd and 6th) which lidied particularly serious and complete novillos during the three tercios. The second for Lalo de Maria was awarded a posthumous vuelta and the 5th for Nino Julian was very strong, brave and demanding without forgetting the 3rd who caused the fall of the cavalry.

In front of 4,000 spectators and despite a strong wind, Lalo de Maria (silence and two ears) opened the big door at the end of one of the most beautiful faenas of his career as a novillero. His first of Camino de Santiago left him no option because he was weak and completely stopped. The future matador then delivered a faena full of temple and depth that culminated in the right-handed series and the circular closing moves full of aplomb, taking full advantage of the class of the brave man from Malaga. Despite a sword on his side, the presidency granted the request of the two ears of the public. Lalo de Maria has shown that he is ready to celebrate his alternative at the next Feria des Vendanges in Nîmes.

Nino Julian's fight against an encasté Malaga

Nino Julian (ear and vuelta after advice) also got a reward from his first and only the descabello prevented him from doubling the stake against the next. Excellent in his reception to the cape on his knees and the banderillas against his first, he drew his best series on the right horn in front of a mobile but classy novillo.

His second from Malaga, very serious, encasté and demanding, put the Nîmes native to the test, especially since a strong wind complicated the fight. Determined, totally committed, he fought a meritorious fight despite several clashes of fabrics. He was very severely caught by delivering a very sincere thrust then the descabello made him lose a trophy. But the Nîmes native showed character and his abilities to face this demanding test.

Javier Zulueta (silence and silence after three opinions) will not have left its mark despite his few tasty details of Sevillian bullfighting. But the seriousness of his opponents weighed on his mentality and led him to remain permanently reserved. He then went bankrupt with his last novillo who came out alive after three warnings and multiple failures at the sword and the descabello.
